Marion Roberts has lived and worked on Skye for over forty years, painting landscape watercolours, the occasional oil portrait and illuminated calligraphy. While renovating Orbost House and bringing up a family, Marion and her husband David set up the gallery to exhibit Marion’s watercolours and David’s oil landscape paintings.

ORBOST GALLERY
Orbost Gallery (Dunvegan, Isle of Skye IV55 8ZB) was started in 1977 by David and Marion Roberts to exhibit their paintings and prints which celebrate the landscape of Skye and the adjacent Highlands. David died in 1997 but Marion still lives and works nearby. Original watercolours and calligraphy are available for sale along with a selection of prints, and commissions are accepted. The gallery closed to general viewing at the end of 2014 but remains open by appointment. Click here to get in contact.
